Description
TRUST Whiskey begins with 100% organic hull-less unmalted barley grown in Armstrong, British Columbia. It is triple-distilled in our hand-made CARL single copper pot still. For just shy of four years, it has been quietly resting in mature 220-litre Portuguese Port barrels to slowly gain character, complexity and colour.
Distiller’s Tasting Notes off the Still (81% alc./vol.):
Aromas of butterscotch, cacao bean and caramel punctuate the nose. The finish has a soft, yet dignified white chocolate character.
In The Bottle:
TRUST Single Cask Port presents dark chocolate and marzipan character married with robust barley notes. On the palate it is rich, full and intense with spice, caramel and butterscotch. At 42% alc./vol. the finish has a powerful concentration that is silky smooth with great persistence.
